I just picked up the BoDeans first DVD "Homebrewed - Live From the Pabst". The first 7/8's of the DVD is the BoDeans performance from the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee from last New Year's Eve (2004). The final part of the disc is part of their special performance this last August from the roof of the Pabst Theater celebrating their new studio release "Resolution".
The BoDeans played the River Roots Live concert in Davenport this last August. I had a chance to talk with Kurt Neumann of The BoDeans before the show. The BoDeans had been embroiled in a longtime lawsuit with their former manager and "Resolution" was the first studio album they had in eight years. The following Wednesday after their appearance in Davenport, they were scheduled to go back into court to face an appellate judge who threw out the original verdict that freed the BoDeans up from their contractual obligations with their former manager.
Turned out that both parties came to an agreement about three months ago. So, the DVD was just released and it appears the BoDeans are going to be out touring again beginning next week.

By the way, I understand that drummer Kenny Aronoff will not be touring with the BoDeans, as he is currently touring with John Fogerty in Australia through December. Former BoDeans drummer Kevin Leahy will be joining the band for their upcoming shows. No word as to whether this is a permanent position for Leahy or not.
From what I see on the DVD so far, the video isn't that great, and the sound mix is a little less than desirable. But if you're a big BoDeans fan, this is a must.
