I never knew that Rotella made English muffins until I had one for breakfast at the 11-Worth. It was pleasantly decent. A shame Rotella doesn't offer them in the Des Moines area, as far as I know.

Rotella also makes a nice soft focaccia roll that I like, perfect for burgers and overstuffed breakfast sandwiches. Other baked goods like hoagie rolls are pretty standard fare at most area grocers and a fair number of restaurants.

They closed their Omaha location shortly after your visit and moved out to the newly rebuilt Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall in Gretna, Nebraska (located where Highway 31 meets Interstate 80). They moved into a space with a sister restaurant named Big Cheese (a gourmet grilled cheese restaurant).

They were dismal failures from both a culinary and customer service perspective. Consequently, they have both, as of May 2016, closed down and a new restaurant concept is in development in that space.
