The big slide on the south side of the fairgrounds. My good friends Denny Duncan, Dave Mortensen and myself were at the fair all day for the first Sunday they had beer sales in 1977. By the time beer sales stopped at 10 p.m. we decided we needed to go down the big slide. We were a drunken mess.
But that's another story for another time.
